T&Cs

We don't want to have an onerous list of rules for the use of the beach huts as it should be a fun day out and enjoyable for everyone without worrying about what you can or cannot do.

In the main, the Terms & Conditions are just common sense.

1 Hire Times

Hire times are from 9am to 6pm on the day of your booking.

 

2 Maximum Number of Guests

The maximum number of guests is 8 per beach hut, this includes babies, and children.

 

3 Smoking, candles, fires, BBQs

The burning of candles, smoking and lighting fires is strictly prohibited in our around our beach huts. BBQ’s are also not allowed either outside the hut or on the beach.

Only the gas stove provided in the beach hut can be used to cook with. 

 

4 Your Responsibilities

  • You must be over 18 years to book the hut and the person who makes the booking is the responsible for the beach hut.

  • Full payment must be received prior upon booking to secure you date.

  • Your payment confirms the acceptance of our terms and conditions.

  • Please leave the hut as you found it ready for the next beach huttter.

  • After use, cutlery and crockery should be washed up. Cleaning products are provided.

  • All rubbish from your visit must be taken with you when you leave or put in the bins along the promenade.

  • If we find that the beach hut is left in an unreasonable condition we do reserve the right to charge a £10 cleaning fee.

 

5 Loss or Damage

We cannot be responsible for any loss or damage to the hirer’s property. Holly’s Huts does not accept liability for any damage or injury to any of your guests or contents unless  proved to be caused by a negligent act by us. Given the beach is a public place, we recommend that you keep anything of value with you at all times. 

 

6 Speakers

For the consideration of other beach goers, we do not permit the use of speakers, music players or any other devises that could be perceived as nuisance to other beach goers. ​

 

7 Hire of the Hut

Payment is for the hire of the hut and the use of the facilities inside. 

 

8 Contents of Huts

We reserve the right to vary and change items in the beach huts to that which is shown in photographs on the website and social media. We aim to keep everything serviceable and in good condition, sometimes items need to be changed or removed if broken.

 

9 Cancellation Policy

 If you cancel 2 weeks before your booking there is a £15 non-refundable charge otherwise the full amount is non-refundable.
